Waterford Senior Session Miss “A” ; Linden, Michigan Photographer

Well I can say I am officially crazy busy. I have every Friday/sat/sunday  booked until November with the exception of October 24th. I have even started double booking saturdays which does not happen very often.

There are Tuesday’s & Thursday dates available in October for anyone who is late in booking their sessions.

Because it is getting darker sooner, all sessions during the week will have to start at 4:00, no later then 4:30.

Here are a few of Miss “A” ’s session this past Sunday. Can you say “beauty and brains”?

She is smart, a swimmer, a violinist, possibly interested in the Armed Services, and beautiful!

Did I mention she is really nice too?

We had a great time photographing her in one of my favorite spots. Hope you like your sneak peeks!

Out of the office

Just a quick note to let you  know I will be attending a photography workshop this weekend and will not be able to answer emails or calls  from today until Sunday morning. If you are interested in a session please email or call and leave a message. I will get back to you as soon as I am back in town.

Thank you!

Rain and Beautiful Twin Senior Girls

Can you believe all this rain? Rain rain go away! LOL I hate having to reschedule but I can’t control the weather!

Yesterday I had a session with the cutest twin seniors. We were not sure if there would be a break in the weather but they came up anyways for their yearbook portraits. Miss “J” & “M” are both very unique even though they are identical twins. It was my first experience photographing twins and it was fun!

We decided to brave the weather, and drove up to a barn I have permission to use. Unfortunately we were only able to shoot for an hour but we got some great images in a short time. I will be finishing up their session this week.

Let me just say that these girls may look gorgeous but they are not afraid of getting dirty. I was really suprised when miss “j” had her sister help her get up in this window of the barn. I love this picture, it is so cool.

I have a special picture here too, one taken at the end of our session yesterday. Normally my children do not come on sessions with me, but because of the weather and not being sure if we would be shooting or not, Karli was with me. She was loving the girl’s little dog Cali ( sp?). Karli wanted a picture with the girls at the end, she could easily pass for their sister which is so strange because I look NOTHING like them LOL.

( ** note to add my sister looks very much like the girls. Dang why didn’t I get the long limbs and blonde hair?)

I am looking forward to photographing you both again this week!!

Miss “C”, her sisters and a guitar

This week I met Miss “C” along with her mom and sisters. Mom had asked if it would be ok to  do a few photographs with the sisters and I said sure! I am always open to a few extra pictures with siblings, boyfriends, pets. Apparently at the mom’s wedding the three girls did this Charlie’s Angel pose. When I was thinking about how I would pose them, this was the first thing that came to my mind! Of course we had to have fun and do it! They had a hard time being serious ( well Miss “A” did in the pink!) LOL.

During Miss “C”s session I learned that she is a big fan of Carole King, the Beatles, and Janis Joplin to name a few. Basically music is her life, she loves to sing and play her guitar. I thought we got some beautiful photographs of her with her guitar, here is just one of those.

It was such a pleasure to meet all of you!

Downtown Howell,Michigan Miss “J”

Sunday I had a great senior session in downtown Howell. I love that location, everytime I go there I find something different. This great old door has now been stripped, it is in the process of being repainted ( so sad).

Miss “J” said she was not used to getting her pictures taken, I think she was lying LOL. Well probably not but she is definently a natural. We had a lot of fun walking around with her mom taking pictures.

There are so many beautiful pictures of her I had a  hard time choosing some for sneak peeks!

It was so nice to meet both you and your mom. Thank you for sharing this special time of your life with me!

Miss “L” Senior Dancer

Well school is back in full force!! I am going to have a few days a week to play catch up now that all three of my kids are in school! ( Although I admit I cried when my baby went to K, glad she only goes a few days).

This last week I met Miss “L” and her mom. What a sweet girl ! She is a dancer and used to do ballet so we had to incorporate her toe shoes in a few pictures!

When I saw her yellow top I knew we had to take pictures by the sunflower wall. This is the first time I have used it this year! Looks perfect to me!

Oh and this pretty picture with the green sweater… yum yes behind her is a BIG HOLE covered by a board! Talk about risky. I really do not put my clients in danger! But when you see a great spot you gotta try it!

I hope you like your sneak peeks!!

Stylish Coat and a Senior!

Normally I try not to use names on my blog but this senior was so fun because her name is my sister’s name as well! Sydney! I just love that name and also have a best friend who named her daughter Sydney too.

We took part of her session at her house and then a few spots in Linden and Fenton. I am in love with this beautiful purple coat! The colors are so perfect for her and it is a nice piece that is unique and stylish!

Here are a few sneak peeks!
